Positive Pay
POSITIVE PAY
Positive Pay is a service offered by our Bank to protect our customers against check fraud.
It is aimed at systematically comparing actual cheques presented for payment from the clearing house, with the details provided by the customer independently.
It envisages a mechanism whereby a customer, after issuing a cheque for value of Rs.5 lakhs or more , to provide such details to Bank immediately, enabling the bank to compare such details with the actual cheque received by the Bank from clearing house.
Wherever, customer fails to give the information of the cheques for or more than Rs.5 lakhs, Bank may return such Cheque unpaid in the absence of additional confirmation from the customer.
Customers, after issuing the cheque can use the following links and inform the Bank details of the cheque for Rs.5 lakhs or more issued by them.
